The Doctor’s Bag is what Mary Poppins would carry if she was a filthy functional dyke with a passion for translucent fashion - and horses!
The inimitable Dr Ronx commissioned me to make them this bag and I designed it with them in mind. The finished bag mirrors Ronx’s uniquely elegant, sexy and slightly cheeky style. It’s definitely a mischievous bag, with lots of Easter eggs and secret doors.
WHAT?! it’s 2 lezbags in 1! Yes! No lie. When worn one way this oblong lez fits loads: sex toys, books, a spare ribbed vest & pants. The record 8 eyelets mean it is extra TRANSformable!!
Simply click out one of your stainless steel carabiners, fold your lez in half and click back through the double eyelets. With your other carabiner, slip it out, and feed it through both eyelets.
I showed @madonnalactans the click out and switch it up method whilst road testing a prototype at superstore & she screamed ‘perfect job for a butch!’
You! (Or your butch) just has to click snap voila! And your Doctor’s Bag is ready for the club, a sporty date or just those days when you have a bit lez to carry and want an itty bittier lez.
Ronx and I wanted to stick to their chosen sleek butch palette of black, silver and translucent.
‘Can you do me a clear coated chain?’ They asked me one day. So this is what I came up with, a beautiful clear plastic coated silver medium linked chain that rings the tiniest bit blue in the right light. The zip features a hand riveted leather toggle, made by me from reclaimed boot uppers.
But possibly my favourite part of this lez is the horses bit!!! This gorgeous hulk of shiny silver makes the bag, to quote @madonnalactans again, ‘fully pervertible’, which means if you are into a little horse play - you’re all set up and good to go! Just unclick the bit and giddy up.
The horses bit is quick release. just squeeze and slide it up when you’re wearing this lez cross body and your bag clips off in a trice without having to lift it over your head. Perfect for those occasions when you need to strip off - stat!
And finally one last spec from Ronx was that I make them a baby lez. Isn’t she cute!
